Xhorse Dolphin Renault Emergency Keys Decode Error 2 Solution

 The tips here could help people who get an “error code 2, not detect probe” problem when decoding Renault emergency keys with Xhorse Dolphin XP005/XP005L key cutting machine.

Apparently, to make Renault emergency keys you need a wedge to be able to decode the key (if anyone has already had this problem and has a solution)

Users succeeded but have to cheat by lifting the key to be able to decode.  block the key after having raised it slightly and after several tries, it decodes ok. The engraving is done normally if you choose cut by bitting.   You are able to cut with the cut by bitting function in 1 minute.

How to Solve Xhorse Condor Internal Error 1(-2)?

 If your xhorse condor mini plus/condor ii key cutting machine got an Internal error on startup screen, follow solution here to get it fixed

Solution:

In Xhorse upgrade kit, select Condor device

Do Repair data-> Fix internal error 1-> Fix internal error 2-> Clear All (3 times)

Then update software.

 

If still not working, change another laptop or USB cable, try solution above again.

How to Cut HU66 Plastic Key with Xhorse Dolphin XP005?

 Question: How do I copy HU66 B6 Plastic original and plastic new. I have only Xhorse Dolphin XP005. I don’t want to break the copier when I read the original key.

Answer: Super easy to decode by eye. Decode by eye or use a calliper to make the measurements.
Decode by eye input number put the metal blade in and wen its about to cut pause and swap metal blade out then put plastic blade in and continue.
There is an option for plastic key on the xhorse app.

Xhorse Dolphin XP005L Change Screen Guide

 Xhorse tutorial: how to replace and change xhorse dolphin xp005l (dolphin ii) key cutting machine touch screen.

 

1. Take out those screws for remove the back case and handle from machine xp005L

2. Take out those screws and disconnect cables as picture show, for remove back case from screen

3. Use the flat head screwdriver to push out the mount which use for fix the screen like picture show, for remove screen from the back case of machine xhorse dolphin ii

4. Please remove the plastic pin socket from screen cable with sharp piler like picture show,for remove whole screen and cable from xp005l

Remark: Please take a photo of that pin socket before you remove it, all pin should be in the exact same position like before when you put it back.

How to Fix Xhorse Condor II Error Code 20?

 Here comes the solution to xhorse condor xc-mini plus ii key cutting machine error code 20.

Error code:20

spindle motor abnormal, rotate speed can’t up to rated value.

Solution:

Disassemble xhorse condor ii shell and remove the driver board as below

Remove the resister marked image below. Then short both ends.
