How to Solve Xhorse Dolphin XP005L Error Code 70?

Problem:

Xhorse Dolphin XP005L keeps showing error code 70 and the battery pack is in BIOS mode. The battery won’t charge. How can I resolve this?

Solution:

1. Connect the Dolphin XP005L to power.

2. Connect it to the phone using the Xhorse app.

3. Enter Update/Upgrade and update firmware and database completely.

4. Use a stable Internet connection; If it fails, try the phone’s hotspot.

5. If the phone does not allow you to complete the update, do it from a computer using the Xhorse Upgrade Kit. There is documentation for this same Error 70 that specifically recommends switching to the Upgrade Kit when the mobile update fails.

It’s already solved.

Here’s what worked for me.

You remove the cover where the battery goes and disconnect that green connector.

1.Set your machine and turn it on with the charger connected (and the green connector disconnected)

2. update the firmware (the update should take around 11 minutes)

3. You connect the green connector and update the machine again

4. You turn on the machine and in theory your machine should be fine.
