Dolphin XP005 Cut a Key for Suzuki Swift

 How to use Xhorse Dolphin XP005 + VVDI Key Tool Max to cut a key for Suzuki Swift? Today I will make a quick demonstration for its procedure.

 

Connect VVDI Key Tool Max and Dolphin XP005 key cutting machine via Bluetooth for smart control, prepare an original key and a new for ready, then get to start:

 

Vehicle database >> Suzuki >> Swift >> Swift-New >> OK

Install M1 clamp as prompts, fix the original key flat on clamp. I will use a block help to calibrate the position of key. Remember to remove it after calibration.

 

Go back to VVDI Key Tool Max when the key was fastened.

 

Decode key >> Continue

 

Dolphin XP005 automatic machine starts decoding key…

 

Wait until 100%…

 

Decode key success, press “OK”.

Dismount the original key, put the new key to be cut on clamp instead. Calibrate and fix the key as before.

 

Go back to VVDI Key Tool Max again.

 

Cutting key >> Continue

 

Dolphin XP005 machine starts cutting key…

Wait until 100%…

 

Cutting key completed, press “OK”.

 

Dismount the new key, and compare to the original key. They are same! Let me try it with the lock, it can work normally.

 

Key cutting is successful!

How to Cut SC1 key with Xhorse Dolphin XP005 and M4 Jaw?

Problem:

I have Key decode error with xhorse m4 jaw.

The Xhorse application doesn’t let me calibrate the m4.

My work around has been to pause the machine mid decoding and then lower the probe with a allen wrench.

Suggestion:

You can go under universal duplication.

Sc1 doesn’t have a key profile on xhorse app.

Select M4 clamp.

If you can put something under to lift it up a bit it should work.

Good News ! Now Xhorse CONDOR XC MINI & Condor XC-MINI PLUS can work on Xhorse App. Using same Dolphin database.

1. Support the Condor machine with the first 4 digits code of the serial number:

Difference Between Condor XC-Mini Milling Cutters

Question:

May be a dumb question. Just bought a Xhorse condor xc-mini plus key cutting machine. What is the 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 milling cutters for what are the difference besides size?

Answer:

1.0mm is the Tracer Probe.

The milling cutter has 3 optional size: 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5.

No difference except size (length)

You can use 1.5, 2.5 on everything.

User experience:

The 2.5mm cutter will do almost everything. 1.5mm cutter will be used on things like hu162 for new vag and I believe internal ford hu101.

Condor XC-Mini Fail Probe Detection Solution

Problem:

Hello, I have a problem with my Condor XC-mini key cutting machine. I have the following error: – fail: probe detection.

I checked already the conductivity measurement, all looks fine (probe and cutter )

Can you help me please? Thanks in advance.

How to Cut VW HU66 All Keys Lost with Dolphin XP005?

I’ve had the Xhorse Dolphin XP005 key cutting machine about 3 months and already paid for about 1/2 the machine.  I’m just a mobile programmer.  So far I love it. I like the size and portability of it.   A real locksmith could pay for this machine in a month !

Today i tested the All Keys Lost function on Condor Dolphin using VVDI Key Tool Max.  Easy and quick.

Key code is required when lost all keys.

Combine key tool max and dolphin xp-005

In Xhorse App, select All Keys Lost function->Volkswagen

Manually enter 4-digit key code to continue

Select HU66 8 bitting

Align M2 clamp, press OK

Insert key into dolphin xp-005 clamp, press Cutting Key and select Secondary cutting, press Continue

Cutting key in progress, you can check key cutting process on key tool max

Cut key HU66 completed

Test the new key

It works.
